Help build and lead a competitive and values-driven athletic program at North Idaho College. As an Assistant Coach for Women's Soccer, you will support the Head Coach in all aspects of program operations, including skill development, practice planning, game preparation, recruiting, and student-athlete development. You will work directly with student-athletes to teach sport-specific skills, conditioning, and team strategies, while also providing individualized instruction to support performance and growth both on and off the field.
This role contributes to the full student-athlete experience, including supporting academic success through study halls, grade checks, and referrals to campus resources. You will assist with recruiting efforts by identifying and evaluating prospective student-athletes, while ensuring all activities comply with institutional and governing body regulations. Additional responsibilities include coordinating travel logistics, managing equipment and uniforms, maintaining athletic facilities, and supporting game-day operations and scheduling.
We are looking for someone with strong coaching knowledge and the ability to teach, motivate, and develop student-athletes in a team environment. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to build positive relationships with athletes, colleagues, and the broader community. Leadership, integrity, and a commitment to student-athlete well-being, including physical and mental health, are essential. Candidates should be organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and compliance.
