The New York Red Bulls are one of 28 teams in Major League Soccer (MLS). RBNY, one of the ten charter clubs of MLS, have competed in the league since its founding in 1996. The Red Bulls play home matches at Red Bull Arena (RBA) in Harrison, New Jersey. The New York Red Bulls offer one of the nation's premier youth soccer development programs, from local soccer partnerships across New York and New Jersey to Regional Development Schools and the Red Bulls Academy teams.
Purpose of this Job
The primary responsibility is to manage existing Youth Club Partnerships and grow the territory with the addition of new Club, Camp and Facility partnerships. Daily management will include program operations, sales, renewals, program marketing and regional coaching staff management.
You will report to the Senior Manager, Training Programs.
Areas that play to your strengths
- Primary point of contact for daily management and customer care of partner clubs and programs in Long Island, Brooklyn and Queens . This includes regular attendance at board and coach's meetings, outbound calls, contract and invoice management, program scheduling, program development and staff scheduling.
- Develop an annual sales and operating budget for the region, prepare presentations, proposals, responses to RFPs, and legal contracts for all partners and prospects.
- Use networking events, external appointments, territory prospecting and outbound sales calls to maximize revenue by selling Club Support Coaching Services, Training Programs, Camps, Clinics and Coach Education services. You will conduct a significant number of external based meetings and events.
- Implement Red Bulls curriculum and philosophy within partner clubs and programs. Through ongoing program analysis and club reviews provide player and club development recommendations to develop the clubs programming.
- Coordinate with the youth marketing team to support marketing initiatives that help maximize attendance, revenue and awareness of all camp and clinic programs. This includes social media and e-marketing campaigns, working with partner clubs to distribute flyers and e-blast to their membership and identify several grassroots events that could help promote the brand.
Because of the cyclical nature of the entertainment industry, you may be asked to work varying schedules to reflect our needs (includes nights and weekends).
Your areas of expertise that matter most for this role:
- Youth Soccer Club Management – Understanding of club operations, program management and development.
- In-depth understanding of the youth soccer industry and structure (Knowledge and Experience of the Long Island Youth Soccer landscape beneficial).
- Business Development – Sales, presentations, proposal writing, contracts, budgeting and financial management.
- Youth coaching experience at all ages and levels including coach education.
