The Oberlin College Department of Athletics and Physical Education invites applications for the position of Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach. This is a full-time, 12-month Administrative and Professional Staff position, reporting to the Head Women’s Soccer Coach and working with the Associate Vice President for Athletics Advancement and Delta Lodge Director of Athletics & Physical Education.
This position will report directly to the Head Women’s Soccer Coach and be responsible for assisting the Head Coach in all aspects of the program – coaching, recruiting, and administration. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Helping student-athletes develop athletically, academically, and personally
Coaching and coordinating practices during the traditional and non-traditional seasons
Match preparation, match management, and video analysis
Recruiting and retention of student-athletes
Social media outreach
Travel planning
Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Preference will be given to candidates with successful coaching, playing, and recruiting experience at the college level
Applicants should be open to working hours that include a combination of days, nights, weekends and travel
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Ability to interact positively with student-athletes, parents, colleagues, alumni, and the public
Comply with all College, NCAC, and NCAA rules and regulations.
