Position Summary: Colorado EDGE Soccer Club is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and passionate Assistant Competitive Girls Director to join our full-time staff. Colorado EDGE Competitive Girls participate in ECNL RL, Colorado Soccer Association (CSA) and other nationally sanctioned events. This role will primarily support the club's Competitive Girls Program, with a particular emphasis on the 9v9 developmental stage. The successful candidate will be instrumental in implementing the club’s mission through strategic planning, coach development, and player programming. As one of the prominent public facing representatives of Colorado EDGE, this individual will maintain consistent interaction with players, parents, coaches, club staff, volunteers, partner organizations, and the EDGE Board of Directors. Reports To: Competitive Girls Director Supervises: 11U-19U Girls Competitive Players, Teams, and Coaches with an emphasis on 9v9 developmental stage Key Responsibilities: - Serve as an ambassador of Colorado EDGE, upholding the club’s values and representing the organization professionally at all times.
- Assist with the development and implementation of age appropriate curriculum and seasonal plans aligned with player development objectives for the 11U–19U Girls Competitive Program.
- Oversee and mentor team coaches and part-time staff, offering ongoing education and professional development opportunities.
- Lead and support team and roster formation, player registration, and associated compliance documentation.
- Coordinate coach recruitment, selection, onboarding, and evaluation, ensuring alignment with the club’s standards.
- Attend and participate in Colorado Soccer Association (CSA) meetings as designated by the Competitive Girls Director.
- Provide regular on field support, including coaching a team(s) as needed to maintain program quality.
- Facilitate seasonal tryouts and team placement in accordance with ECNL, CSA, and club timelines.
- Actively participate in club hosted tournaments, camps, clinics, ID sessions, and community events.
- Address and resolve conflicts among players, parents, and coaches with professionalism and transparency.
- Communicate effectively and consistently with all stakeholders to ensure program continuity and clarity.
- Continuously evaluate new training and leadership methodologies and recommend implementation where appropriate.
- Achieve performance goals set in collaboration with the Competitive Girls Director and CEO.
