Saint Francis University, is a member of the NCAA Division I competing in the Northeast Conference. The candidates must have a commitment to adhering to all rules and regulations of Saint Francis University, the Northeast Conference, and the NCAA. In addition, the candidates must understand and actively support the mission of the Department of Athletics and Saint Francis University.
Bachelor’s degree required. Intercollegiate competitive or coaching experience required for coaching positions. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills are essential.
Compensation for positions is tuition remission in a Saint Francis University master's degree program, plus a stipend if coaching. Candidates must be admitted into a master’s program at Saint Francis University in order to qualify for positions.

Saint Francis is an NCAA Division I (FCS) member of the Northeast Conference with additional conference membership with the Collegiate Water Polo Association(women's water polo) and The Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (men's volleyball).
