About Us:
Sporting Gainesville Soccer Academy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit soccer organization dedicated to developing players of all levels through a positive, challenging, and structured environment. We focus on long-term player development, sportsmanship, and a passion for the game.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a full-time Competitive Youth Soccer Coach to join our coaching staff in Gainesville, Florida. This position is responsible for coaching and managing competitive-level youth teams (U9–U19), conducting training sessions, leading teams in league and tournament play, and helping execute the club’s player development philosophy under the guidance of the Director of Coaching.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coach and manage 2–3 competitive teams throughout the year.

• Plan and conduct engaging, age-appropriate training sessions aligned with the club curriculum.

• Travel with teams to league games, tournaments, and events.

• Communicate effectively with players, parents, and club leadership.

• Assist in player evaluations, tryouts, and seasonal team placements.

• Support the Director of Coaching with program implementation and club initiatives.

• Maintain professionalism and uphold club standards on and off the field.

Qualifications:

• USSF C License, or currently pursuing C license (or higher) preferred; willingness to continue coaching education required.

• Previous experience coaching competitive youth soccer teams.

• Strong understanding of player development principles.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

• Ability to work evenings and weekends as required by the soccer calendar.

• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check.
