Kenyon College invites applications for the position of Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach. This is a full time, 10-month reporting position with benefits. Under the general direction of the Head Men’s Soccer Coach, this coach will assist with the responsibilities of the highly competitive NCAA D-III Men’s Soccer program in accordance, and compliance with NCAA, NCAC, and Kenyon College policies and regulations. The Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach will work with the head coach to fulfill the following responsibilities: assisting the Head Coach with recruiting, planning and running practice sessions, and game day responsibilities. Additional responsibilities will be assigned in game management, facility overview, teaching, and / or administration.
It is also expected that the Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach will embrace the department mission of fostering learning and developing community with a focus on the values of citizenship, competition, resiliency, sportsmanship, and teamwork within Kenyon’s unique campus culture. Kenyon College is a highly selective liberal arts college of 1800 students located in the village of Gambier, 50 miles northeast of Columbus, Ohio. The Owls currently compete in 22 intercollegiate sports, 11 men's and 11 women's, within the North Coast Athletic Conference (Division III). That number will grow to 23 in 2025-26, when women's golf is added. Kenyon is a founding member of the NCAC, the first conference in the country devoted to giving equal emphasis to men's and women's sports. Since the NCAC began competition in the 1984-85 academic year, Kenyon teams have collected 130 conference championships. Kenyon leads all NCAA Division III institutions with a total of 62 national championship trophies and ranks second with 91 NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship award-winners.
