This is a twelve-month position reporting to the Head Men’s Soccer Coach. The Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach will assist the Head Coach in all aspects of the men’s soccer program, particularly recruiting, travel management, on campus events, on field instruction, and scouting for opponents. The Assistant Coach will assist in the recruitment of prospective student-athletes and the retention and success of current student-athletes, which is of the utmost importance and priority.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:
1.Assists the Men’s Soccer Program.
2.Design and implement training programs.
3.Recruit student athletes.
4.Perform a second duty that is assigned dependent on the candidate’s strengths and background.
5.Conduct men’s soccer practice sessions and perform game coaching.
6.Be aware of and adhere to NCAA and CCIW rules relating to the men’s soccer program.
7.Serve as Athletic Facility Monitor.
8. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
