The Girls’ Academy Director provides leadership and direction to the Cincinnati United Girls Academy program as well as implements strategy to ensure the Academy meets all goals and Key Performance Indicators set for the Academy Director by the club Technical Team.
Profile
Experienced technical leader with a deep understanding of player development (U13-U19) and how to implement a player development philosophy, game model and training model to make the game idea operational. Situational leader with ability to lead players and staff at various stages of development. Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to organize work effectively, conceptualize and prioritize objectives and exercise independent judgment based on an understanding of organizational policies and objectives. A strategic, solution-oriented thinker with the ability to create, monitor and evaluate the implementation of a high-performance soccer environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
Head of the Girls' Academy Program
Lead Academy staff in the areas of Technical, Performance, Medical and Operational execution
Serve as a Head Coach within Girls Academy Program
Collaborate with Technical Team to develop, implement, execute and evaluate an Academy plan aligned with the mission, vision, values and philosophy of the club
Create a high-performance environment optimal for the development of Key Player Qualities as defined by the club
Collaborate with CUP Technical Director and Girls Director of Soccer to enhance integration of pathway
Serve as a member of the club Technical Team
Keep Technical Leadership informed of the progress of the Academy plan
Represent Cincinnati United and its partners in a professional manner at all times.
Perform other related tasks as assigned by Senior Leadership.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum of three (3) years coaching experience at Elite Youth Level
US Soccer "C" License
Experience in leading a program and coaching staff
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sharepoint and Calendar.
Preferred Experience
USSF “B” License
Served as an Academy Director or Director of Coaching within an Academy Environment.
Five (5) years coaching across age groups U13-U19 in an Elite Youth environment
