Assistant Women's Soccer Coach Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Assist in practice and game planning, player skill development, assist with warm-ups and cool down. 2. Administrative duties, travel plans, scheduling, coordinating practice times, coordinating team activities, and communication with the team. 3. Develop recruiting by coordinating the initial identification of potential recruits and general reply to all inquiries in accordance with NCAA rules and regulations, assist in itinerary creation for visiting recruits, meet and assist with recruits while on official and unofficial visits, and off site recruiting throughout the year. 4. Cooperate with Academic Advisor where advising issues are needed. 5. Develop and assist in the running of soccer camps. 6. Public relations and promotional activities 7. Alumni coordination and connection 8. Travel with the team during season with responsibilities in relation to travel (coordinating meals, snacks, itineraries, etc) 9. Coordinate community service opportunities for the team
Updated posting: University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Women's Soccer is looking for an Assistant Soccer Coach. The ability to train goalkeepers is highly preferred and will be part of the job responsibilities. In addition, one of the strongest local clubs is looking for a Goalkeeping Director. The salary package between the two programs will be 35-40k with the opportunity to make additional income from camps and individual trainings in the area. These jobs can be worked simultaneously as the UWM women's team trains late mornings leaving afternoons and evenings available for club work. We are looking for someone with very strong expertise in developing GK's, a good work ethic, ambitious, energetic, excellent at contributing to culture, and works well in a collaborative coaching staff environment.
