Position Summary:
Directly responsible for the goalkeeper program for all Goalkeepers within the club.
Azzurri Storm is searching for soccer coaches at all levels U9 – U19. A love of the game, great character, a focus on long term individual player development and a focus on improving your coaching expertise are of great importance to us.
Roles & Responsibilities Goalkeeping Coach
Assists management of all stakeholders within all player pathways to include E64, Sunshine Conference Academy, NPL, EDP, Florida Academy and Florida Girls Academy League
Works with the Director of Coaching to provide training curriculum, training sessions, player feedback, and player evaluation process for all Goalkeepers within the program.
Provides GK Training 3x-4x Per Week with Goalkeepers
Provides player education, video content & workouts to improve player’s technique outside of GK training.
Assists with talent ID, tryouts, evaluations, feedback & maintenance of internal depth charts.
Internally and externally recruits players to fill goalkeeping roles within the club.
Attends all events & meetings as assigned by the Director of Coaching
Holds educational webinars/meetings to educate current & prospective players about the Goalkeeper Program
Operations: Assists with Game Day Operations all club to club leagues to include E64 and Sunshine Conference Academy
Head Coach
Leadership of respective team or age group
Coordinates with DOC to provide schedules, roster management, training curriculum, training sessions, team communication, player feedback, and player evaluation process for all.
Provides & executes training, matchday, & off-day protocols for the Team
Provides logistics to managers, players, & other key stakeholders within the team.
Training
Provides team training 2-3x Per Week
Executes the Storm guidelines within practice
Player Development
Provide Player Assessments, and Feedback for All players.
Continually building team by internally and externally recruiting in accordance within governing body rules
Additional duties as assigned by DOC
Minimum Requirements:
Goalkeeper Certification/Diploma for Goalkeeper Candidates
USSF D License, Equivalent or Higher
Conversant in English
Fluency in English and Spanish preferred Physical Requirements: Ability to lift +20lbs to meet field/facility setup demands. Environment: Ability to work indoors and outdoors on a daily basis. Additional Notes: Additional Duties assigned by Director of Coaching
