Camp Menominee an all boys overnight summer camp located in Northern Wisconsin, is looking for an experienced and dedicated Athletic Director to oversee all athletic programs at our overnight summer camp. The Athletic Director will be responsible for managing and supervising our programs, including but not limited to basketball, flag football, soccer, hockey, lacrosse, baseball, and more. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching/coaching, enthusiastic about working with kids, and dedicated to creating a positive and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of our sports programs, including scheduling, coaching, and equipment inventory management. Develop lesson plans and teach/coach campers ages 7-16 in various sports. Work with staff to ensure the safety and well-being of all campers during athletic activities. Ensure that all athletic facilities are properly maintained and ready for use. Supervise and evaluate all athletic staff members, including coaches and instructors. Promote good sportsmanship, team building, and positive competition among campers and staff. Foster a culture of inclusivity and encourage participation in sports for all campers, regardless of skill level or experience. Participate in regular meetings with other camp leadership staff to ensure that all aspects of the summer program run smoothly
Role Dates: June 4 - August 10
No previous experience as an athletic director required. We are willing to work with someone who wants to learn!
Previous experience playing, coaching or teaching, and have a passion for working in this space.

Our staff consists of former campers, new American staff and internationals visiting from all over the world. Many campers choose to return to camp as counselors. Why? Counselors have come to our boys sports camp and left better leaders. They have also improved key teamwork and communication skills. Teachers and coaches love spending their summer with us. Finally, a summer at camp fosters friendships that will last forever. We have staff from all over the world with all sorts of stories, interests, and talents to share.
