Position Summary:
Assist with overall supervision, organization, development, and implementation of a nationally competitive intercollegiate women’s soccer program, including recruitment and evaluation of prospective student athletes, planning and coaching training sessions, scouting opponents, creating scouting reports, video breakdown, home event management, coordinate team travel. Compliance with NCAA, Sun Belt, and institutional rules.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist Head Coach with practice and assigned field duties Evaluate and recruit high caliber student-athletes Exhibit Division I knowledge and expertise in soccer Further development of coaching techniques by participating in continuing education (e.g. clinics, seminars, etc.) Breakdown opponent film and formulate scouting reports Focus on goalkeeper coaching and development Teach and demonstrate individual, group (by position) and full team soccer techniques and tactics Make necessary arrangements with various departments to ensure that equipment, training rooms, locker rooms are ready for opposing teams and that time has been set aside for opposing team practice Monitor academic progress of student-athletes through working with the academic advisor for soccer Help Arrange travel for team trips Work in conjunction with communications team to help maximize social media presence Coordinate with the Marketing department on gameday promotions Additional duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics, Head Soccer Coach, or their designee Other duties as assigned Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations as they apply to the area of recruiting and eligibility
Video editing experience with demonstrated editing skills, and experience using professional editing software
Game analysis experience and exceptional knowledge as it relates to Soccer game rules and regulations
Demonstrated exceptional analytical ability, problem-solving skills and solutions focused approach
Ability and willingness to work occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed during peak game and recruiting seasons
General Days/Hours:
This is a full-time position Days and hours of work will vary based on the needs of the soccer program and as job duties demand Early morning, evening and weekend work is required

Work Environment This job operates in both a professional office environment and outside at soccer-related events, including inclement weather. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers and various digital devices, including, but not limited to: cell phone, printer, copy machine, and other related devices. This job requires flexibility and adaptability in schedule and the ability to perform job related duties on short notice

Travel Moderate travel is expected for this position for soccer-related events, such as: season competitions, post-season competitions, conference tournaments, recruiting, and scouting activities, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:
• An earned Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
• Goalkeeper coaching experience of at least 1 year at the university level
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university
• Software literacy and experience using InStat, Spiideo, Teamworks, and Catapult
