Manages all aspects of competitive programming for boys participants. Responsible for day-to-day logistics and management of all programming that serves our boys players. Reports directly to the Technical Director.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Recruit and retain players such that our boys’ programs are full and the experience that players and families have is positive and robust.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with our club coaches, surrounding high schools, clubs, and other entities that would bring players to the club and/or would create diverse player pathways for boys who play competitivey in all age-groups and levels.
• Manage logistics for all boys’ play including rosters, scheduling, communication with families, and session planning for a fun, challenging, and engaging experience.
• Oversee team assignments in league competition, State Cup/President's Cup, designated tournaments, and Desert Conference
• Manage relationships, as relevant, with leagues, regions and tournaments (e.g. CSA League Operations Committee)
• Work in collaboration with Colorado United Technical Director and staff coaches, supporting with curriculum, session planning and delivery of sessions.
• Oversee the boys teams within the different learning phases, including training and games.
• Ability to design, lead and implement age-appropriate training sessions.
• Support fellow coaches with planning and executing sessions.
• Expanding the boys program further.

1. Prior youth coaching experience required working with and developing young players and coaches
2. Ability to follow Colorado United club vision, mission, guiding principles and core values
3. Ability to interact positively with youth soccer players, parents, other staff
4. Communicate effectively in person, via email / phone with professional timeliness
5. Ability to use video technology to support coach and player development
6. Full-time position
7. Coaching badges or previous playing experience preferred (e.g. United Soccer Coaches Premier Diploma, USSF B, UEFA B, and/or FA Youth/Level 3)
8. Capable of efficiently and effectively handle administrative tasks and computer proficiency

United States Citizenship preferred
