Position: Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach
Department: Lenoir-Rhyne Athletics
Reports To: Head Women's Soccer Coach 
Location: Hickory, NC

Description
The Athletic Department at Lenoir-Rhyne University is currently looking for an assistant women’s soccer coach. This individual will assist the head coach with the organization and supervision of all aspects of the women’s soccer program including but not limited to: recruiting, practice, individualized instruction, player development, game planning, organization, scheduling, trip organization, compliance with NCAA policies and regulations, fundraising, alumni relations, community engagement, summer camps, supporting the academic development and graduation of student-athletes and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Coaching experience
• Knowledge of NCAA Division II rules and regulations
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills
• Self-starter and ability to multi-task with attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as an NCAA collegiate coach or athlete
• Demonstration of successful collegiate recruiting experience
• Experience using software and technology (Hudl video system, Titan GPS system)
• Ability to provide skill instruction and leadership
• Ability to provide Goalkeeper instruction
• Ability to travel; night and week-end work required
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to be insured to drive college vehicles required
