Rivier University (www.Rivier.edu) a Catholic university located in Nashua, New Hampshire 40 minutes north of Boston invites applications for the position of Director of Athletics, responsible for the development, management, coordination, and supervision of the University’s Division III intercollegiate athletics program. Reporting to the President and working closely with student affairs, enrollment, and University Advancement, the Director of Athletics will be responsible for Rivier’s NCAA Division III athletics programs with 15 sports offered: men’s and women’s volleyball, lacrosse, soccer, basketball, cross country, and ice hockey (introduced for 2021-2022); as well as field hockey and softball for women and baseball for men. Rivier is a founding member of the Greater Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC). The Rivier athletics program places the highest priority on the overall quality of the students’ educational experience, supporting the successful completion of student athletes’ academic programs and creating a goal-oriented team culture. The Director of Athletics will provide leadership, strategic planning, and policy development for the department serving 300 students, 15 full-time staff, and more than 20 part-time coaches and support staff.
