Regis University’s Department of Athletics is seeking a Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach to oversee the planning and execution of strength and conditioning programs for:
Men’s Soccer (fall season)
Men’s and Women’s Cross Country (fall season)
Men's and Women's Basketball (winter season)
These will be the GA coach's primary teams. The GA coach may also be asked to assist with Men’s Basketball, Women’s Basketball, Baseball, Women’s Volleyball, Women’s Soccer, and Softball when needed.
The GA coach will closely collaborate with the Head and Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coaches to ensure optimal functioning of the strength and conditioning department as a cohesive unit. Further, the GA coach will meet with respective sport coaches as needed and will assist with upkeep of the S&C facility. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, well-organized, and have experience with collegiate level strength and conditioning.
Work Schedule: Will vary from Fall to Winter to Spring semesters. Most training sessions will be between the hours of 6:00am-9:00am and 3:00pm-7:30pm.
Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Health and Exercise, Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology, Sport Sciences, or related field.
Current NSCA CSCS certification (National Strength and Conditioning Association Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist).
At least 6 months of experience as a strength and conditioning coach or strength and conditioning intern.
Demonstrated ability to create and modify periodized programs for multiple sports teams.
A proven record of integrity, high principles, and demonstrated skill in developing and motivating student-athletes academically and athletically.

Additional Salary Information: The graduate assistant position is a two or three-year assignment beginning with the 2020-2021 academic year. The graduate assistant will receive a total of $15,000 over the calendar year that can be $7,500 each semester.
