Chicago Fire FC is seeking a Youth Affiliates Manager to join our team! This individual will manage the operation and execution of all Chicago Fire affiliate programming, working cross-functionally across the department on a variety projects related to the Chicago Fire Juniors and other events and programs.
The role requires for the individual to be highly involved in the execution of a number of components for each project, including event/program preparation, marketing, staffing, communication and delivery, all executed to the standards expected of the Chicago Fire Football Club.
The successful candidate will need to be someone who can successfully organize multiple areas of an event or program over the same period, and able to manage their time effectively to meet deadlines and ensure thorough execution.
Manage day-to-day requests of Fire Juniors affiliates.
Lead the admin and operational needs of the Emerging Talent Program.
Develop and lead the Chicago Fire Juniors spirit wear program.
Oversee planning and delivery for all coach education events and summits.
Prepare agenda items and speakers for quarterly affiliate calls.
Liaise with Fire Juniors clubs on appropriate timing for club visits and plan with CFFC staff.
Act as a conduit between Fire Juniors clubs and other front office departments.
Oversee the data collection requirements from Fire Juniors clubs
Manage the Fire Juniors website and ensure all affiliate clubs adhere to CFFC brand and digital guidelines
Represent the Fire Juniors at internal/external meetings and events as required.
Assist with the identification and recruitment of new affiliate clubs.
Ensure all contracted admin and operational requirements of affiliate agreements are met with each club.
Participate and assist in other youth programming as required.
Attend Chicago Fire home matches and perform duties as assigned.
2-4 years of experience in program/account/club management in the sports industry
Bachelor’s degree in sports, business or similar fields required.
Master’s degree in sports or business administration preferred.
Knowledge of the U.S. youth soccer landscape locally and nationally.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Strong leadership qualities encompassing all levels of management.
Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
Self-motivated, entrepreneurial individual who is a hands-on worker.
Excellent organizational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
