Loudoun Soccer is seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Referee Development Coordinator to lead and support the education and development of its referees. The position will oversee on-field referee development, and assist and support the assigning and certification arms of the referee team. The ideal candidate must work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and will work closely with all areas of the organization.
The Referee Development Coordinator is the primary point of contact for referee-related inquiries and issues. The primary tasks include monitoring and developing the referee pool, including overseeing and leading the in-house educating, mentoring and development programs; addressing referee-related questions and concerns from club membership; assisting the assignors with their responsibilities as needed; liaising with the state instructors for club-hosted certification courses; and other related responsibilities.
This is a part-time position, and the individual in this role should have the ability to accept referee assignments when desired and appropriate.
