Eastern New Mexico University seeks qualified applicants for the position of Graduate Assistant for the men’s soccer program. This is a 10 month position: two year program. Bachelors’ degree required with playing experience and/or educational/work experience in a related area. Goalkeeping background and experience is preferred.
Primary Responsibilities: •Lead goalkeeper instruction and development, including the planning and implementation of training sessions. •Assist the head coach with player instruction and development including planning and supervision of practices, game planning and game day coaching, and player evaluation development •Recruit and scout prospective student-athletes as directed by head coach •Monitor eligibility status and promotion of academic progress for student athletes •Develop and sustain relationships with other college and high school coaches •Any other duties as assigned by the head coach and director of athletics
Bachelor’s degree is required and the position is conditional based on acceptance into the Eastern New Mexico University Masters’ program
High level of organization and attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Valid driver’s license
Prior coaching experience at the Division I, II or III level including NAIA
Effective communication skills; both orally and written
