Under the direction of the Head Coach and in accordance with all NCAA, Conference, State and Institutional rules and regulations this position will assist the head coach in all phases of a Division I Women’s Soccer program. This position will be responsible for recruiting competitive student-athletes according to NCAA rules and regulations. Assist in practice and game planning, player skill development, weight training, and conditioning. Monitoring, advising, and counseling of student-athletes. This position also includes administrative duties, budgeting, purchasing, scheduling and coordinating practice times. Assisting the Head Coach in public relations and promotional activities. As well as academic monitoring, cooperating with Academic advisors where advising and tutoring issues are needed.
-Bachelor’s degree -A minimum of 1 year demonstrated experience coaching soccer at the collegiate or club level, and/or playing soccer at the collegiate or club level.
-Demonstrated evidence of collegiate soccer coaching experience. -Demonstrated experience in recruiting student-athletes. -Demonstrated practice planning experience. -Evidence of experience with academic monitoring of student-athletes. -Demonstrated experience with athlete skills development. -Evidence of office management skills.
