This position is responsible for overseeing all duties associated with a competitive Division III Men’s Soccer program and is responsible for providing the vision and leadership in the development of the program. Help sustain an atmosphere that promotes academic and personal growth of student-athletes. Compliance with NCAA and Commonwealth Coast Conference rules, as well as Division III philosophy when performing job responsibilities. Oversee practice planning, player development, fundraising and travel needs. Provide a positive student-athlete experience and competitive transition into the Commonwealth Coast Conference.
Primary/ Principal Responsibilities:
Provide vision and leadership in the development of a competitive Division III Men’s Soccer program. Create and sustain an atmosphere that promotes academic and personal growth of student-athletes. Compliance with NCAA rules and Division III philosophy when performing job responsibilities.
Development of a successful comprehensive recruiting plan with focus on recruitment and retention of qualified student athletes. Meet goals for student visits, applications, deposits and program enrollment.
Oversee all administrative aspects of the program including team travel, scheduling of tournaments and practices, budget management and travel arrangements.
Identify, recruit and supervise assistant coaches.
Engage in community outreach and alumni engagement initiatives. Participates in fundraising initiatives for the Athletic Department and the Men’s Soccer program.
Game Management – Coordinate staffing and oversee all operational tasks associated with game day management for our Winter/Spring seasons.
