Assistant Coach of Men's Soccer Athletics Department
Williams College, Division III institution and a member of the New England Small College Athletics Conference (NESCAC), invites applications for the position of Assistant Coach of Men's Soccer for the academic year 2019-20. This is a full-time, 10 month, term appointment with the possibility of renewal.
Williams College Men's Soccer was founded in 1922 and is approaching 100 years of collegiate competition. The program is steeped in tradition having appeared in the NCAA Tournament 19 times since becoming eligible in 1993, including six NCAA Final Fours and one NCAA National Title. The program is committed to recruiting, developing, and mentoring diverse and talented scholar-athletes from around the world. Williams Men's Soccer competes in the NESCAC, arguably the most competitive Division 3 soccer conference in the nation, and Cole field is one of the best natural grass playing surfaces in all of college soccer.

Responsibilities Assist the Head Coach of Men's Soccer in all areas including:
Bachelor's Degree and collegiate playing and/or coaching experience required
Record of professional development including completion of NSCAA and USSF coaching licenses preferred
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively preferred
Knowledge of and commitment to NCAA and NESCAC rules
The successful candidate will be self-motivated and possess the ability to recruit, teach, and coach highly talented scholar-athletes who can succeed in a challenging academic environment
This position is benefits eligible and includes a meal plan. Projected start date is August 12, 2019.
