The University of Wisconsin-Parkside invites applications for the position of Men’s Soccer Graduate Assistant.
The University of Wisconsin-Parkside is proud to offer a men’s soccer graduate assistant coach position. To be eligible, prospective candidates must be accepted into one of the Master’s programs at the University of Wisconsin Parkside. The men’s soccer graduate assistant coach will report directly to the Men’s Soccer Head Coach and will gain experience assisting with all aspects of a Division II men’s soccer program. The University of Wisconsin-Parkside sponsors 15 sports and is a member of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC).
Education, Experience, Training And/or Certifications
Bachelor’s degree required.
Candidates must possess excellent written and verbal skills and the ability to exhibit professionalism and maintain confidentiality.
The ideal candidate will have experience as a student-athlete, manager, and/or coach in a college soccer program.
Candidates must be willing to work long hours and travel, including nights, weekends and holidays in addition to weekly office hours scheduled around University classes.
Appointments are contingent upon maintenance of gooSearch Job Openingsd standing in an enrolled Master’s program.
The successful candidate will be appointed for a 10-month appointment (Aug. 1-May 31) for the 2019-20 academic year with the opportunity for renewal of a second year.
Each graduate assistant will receive an annual stipend of $7,500 (paid monthly) and a scholarship of 50% of tuition (in-state or out of state).
