About Charlotte Soccer Academy
Charlotte Soccer Academy is the largest competitive youth soccer organization in North Carolina with approximately 6500+ families. In spite of recent economic downturn, the club has experienced consistent growth in the past decade. CSA is one of only two clubs in North and South Carolina that offers every level of play in youth soccer.
Our mission to provide a positive and constructive environment for everyone regardless of a child’s age, ability, gender or goals. A child can come to the club and play under the CSA umbrella from Kindergarten through High School. We start as young as three years old in our instructional groups and our recreation program extends all the way through our national level programs for girls and boys at the Under 19 level.
We are one of only 80 clubs in the country to be a part of of the US Development Academy (USSDA) program for boys competing with the MLS professional clubs and one of only 73 clubs to be a member of the USSDA women's program that began in 2017. We have taken the brand of the club and extended it to surrounding counties outside of our main location in South Charlotte. We have a North program with 800+ families in Cabarrus County ...and University area, a program in the Matthews (Union County) area with approx. 500 families, and a section in Huntersville, Davidson and Cornelius areas with approx. 350 families. This past year we started three additional areas with our merger with Charlotte United FC. CSA Uptown, 300+ families in Dilworth, Myers Park and South Park, CSA Palmetto with approx. 200 families playing in our South Carolina branch near Tega Cay and Fort Mill and CSA Palisades, a 250+ family section playing at our complex in the Palisades development, also near Tega Cay.
CSA owns three facilities with our main hub, a 55-acre, multi-million dollar state of the art complex in Pineville. Phase 1 of the complex is complete with 5 lit artificial turf fields, 1 natural grass field and approx. 500 parking spaces. Phase 2 is almost complete with scoreboards, bleachers on our two main stadium fields that can house over 1500 people, picnic shelters on our lower fields and the end of this. year, a 3000 sq. ft concession and restaurants building. Our final phase consists of a 10,000 sq. foot building housing our club offices, club store, changing facilities, sports performance/gym and a PT department with our partner Architech Sports/Physical Therapy. We also have a 15-acre 4 field facility in the Palisades area near Tega Cay and a 16 acre site off Highway 73 in Concord, NC. Both complexes fields are lit and owned exclusively by CSA.
