Nyack College, a member of NCAA DII and the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference, seeks an assistant coach in with a part-time assistant role OR as a graduate assistant to work with the Head Women's Soccer Coach in all aspects related to the operation of the Women's Soccer program. The graduate assistant must successfully enroll as a full-time graduate student in a qualifying program.
Responsibilities include recruiting and retaining qualified student-athletes and assisting with all aspects of coaching, planning, and day-to-day office operations and administrative tasks, including matches and team practice, and a clean, valid Driver’s License is required. The candidate will be an essential employee in Nyack’s transition from its Rockland campus to our Jersey City Campus at the end of the Fall 2019 semester.
Each candidate will be required to send a cover letter, resume, and list of three references.
A Pastor's recommendation will be required in the interview process.
The preferred candidate will have demonstrated success and knowledge in playing Women's Soccer at the collegiate level; recruiting; strong knowledge of NCAA rules; and excellent communication and organizational skills.
Additional Salary Information: Compensation for this position will be offered as housing with a graduate roommate in college housing, 50% tuition reduction and a stipend. The successful candidate will be subject to a background check and driving records check as a condition of employment.
