The Boys Director of Coaching runs the day to day coach operations of United’s Boys Competitive teams. The position is also responsible for creating and implementing the coach development and coach education aspects of the club and oversees the player development programs on the boy’s side. The position is restricted from performing similar duties for other clubs or organizations without prior written approval from the Club President and the Executive Director.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage day to day coach operations under the supervision of the Executive Director - responsible for all coach inquiries - oversee club coaching - create relationships to bring in quality coaches to the club.
Club representative/point of contact for Competitive Leagues
Oversee player development and work with the girl’s director create curriculum and player development plans for all teams and ages.
Oversee Boys competitive team formation process
Create and implement coach development curriculum for all coaches in the club - evaluate effectiveness of development program and report outcomes to Executive Director
Develop and monitor club coach standards and expectations with Girls DOC(GDOC).
Facilitate coach education programming
Work with GDOC to measure coach performance and coach development
Assist ED and GDOC with creating and executing strategic plan for the Club
Work with North Facilities Director to ensure service is the identical in all locations.
Work with GDOC to provide college recruiting education to the club members and coaches - organize college recruiting education seminar for club parents and players
Reports to Executive Director Works closely with Executive Director, GDOC and All Staff members Works with Board of Directors Works with team coaches, managers and parents
2 weeks Paid time off (outside of season and tournament dates)
401k after 6 mos. employment
Coaching licensing up to $1500 per year toward USSF advancement (can be rolled over for 1 year)
Monthly telephone allowance
Employee will be asked to sign a non-compete and confidentiality agreement upon hire.
Licenses: Coaching license of a USSF B or higher Experience: This position requires 2 years of experience in a related position.
