Southwest Baptist University is seeking candidates for the Head Women’s Soccer Coach position. The Head Women’s Soccer Coach is responsible for the management, conduct and supervision of all phases of the NCAA DII intercollegiate women’s soccer program in a means that endorses the mission and objectives of SBU. Duties include: • Planning, organizing and coaching the Southwest Baptist University women’s soccer team. • Preparing women’s soccer student-athletes in the analyses of opposing teams and plans strategies accordingly. • Instructing student-athletes in sportsmanship and ethical behavior • Monitoring and supporting student-athlete academic progress • Providing a well-rounded experience for student-athletes so they may grow as leaders academically, athletically, relationally, socially, and spiritually. • Ensuring compliance with the University, Conference and NCAA policies and regulations • Recruiting and retaining highly skilled student-athletes • Meeting annual recruiting goals • Management of soccer budget • Coordinating the scheduling, planning and management of contests with the sport supervisor • Participation in department and team fundraising • Performing other duties as requested by the Director of Athletics
