Belmont University is currently accepting applications for the position of Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach. Under the supervision of the head coach, this individual will assist with coaching duties for the University’s NCAA Division 1 Men’s Soccer program in such a manner as to build and maintain a competitive, quality program that reflects positively on the image and reputation of the University at all times. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: assisting with individual and team practices, training, and competition; assisting with recruiting efforts; assisting with various operational and administrative aspects of the program, including but not limited to: team travel; scheduling; ordering apparel and equipment; database management, organizing and running institutional camps; fundraising; organizing and coordinating video needs of the team, etc.; and, knowing and abiding by all NCAA, Southern Conference, and University rules and regulations.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; two to four years of successful experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. The ideal candidate will have experience playing or coaching highly competitive soccer, preferably at the NCAA Division 1 level.
