The Laredo Heat Soccer Club is Laredo’s National Premier Soccer League’s Franchise.
After competing in the Premier Development League from 2004 to 2015, the Laredo Heat Soccer Club just celebrated a very successful comeback into competitive soccer after a two-year hiatus.
Since its founding, the Heat has been one of the more successful, top amateur soccer franchises in the country and only missed the playoffs in one PDL Season; that is a source of great pride within the organization.
The Heat played in a total of four PDL Championship Games (2006, 2007, 2008 and 2011), winning the PDL Title in 2007 versus the Michigan Bucks. The vision of the Laredo Heat is to bring an exciting brand of soccer to the Gateway City that features elite local, national and international players that have the potential to move on to the highest levels of soccer in the country and the world, all the while, providing our fans affordable family entertainment and a soccer team that they can call their own. While the Heat will always field a team that can compete for championships, it is also very important to the club, that players, from the youngest Under 5 player to the oldest NPSL player have... the opportunity to develop properly under the guidance of experienced coaches and provide all of them a professional environment in which their talents can be showcased.
The Laredo Heat franchise is owned and operated by A Vaswani Soccer Venture, LLC, which is chaired by Owner and President Shashi Vaswani and his wife, Vice-President Priya Vaswani. Heat Administration consist of General Manager: Juan J. Vela, Assistant General Manager: Rishi Vaswani, Marketing Coordinator: Edith Ortiz, Webmaster: Vanessa Guajardo.
