Job Summary: Direct all phases of the day-to-day operations of the College’s women’s soccer program (commencing Division I competition in fall, 2019).
Duties and Responsibilities:
Recruitment, instruction, development and competitive coaching of student-athletes; Team scheduling and travel coordination; •Supervision of two assistant coaches; •Representing and promoting the team within the established policies and guidelines of the College, applicable athletic conferences and the NCAA; •Must at all times have a dedicated commitment to the success of student-athletes, as well as a working knowledge of, and commitment to, compliance with College and NCAA policies and regulations. •Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree Required
Three years of experience coaching women’s soccer, preferably at the collegiate level;
Certifications in the use CPR and AED use;
Organizational experience, attention to detail, familiarity with technology;
Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations and the ability to pass the annual NCAA Coaches' Certification Exam;
Strong passion for and commitment to the College’s mission;
Culturally sensitive, caring and friendly with a deep understanding and appreciation of a multi-cultural college community and the Franciscan traditions of St. Francis College;
