JOB SUMMARY: Directs all aspects of a successful NCAA Division III Men’s Soccer program. Responsible for the planning, development, and implementation of all activities related to the program. These areas include, but are not limited to recruiting potential student-athletes, planning and supervising of practices, matches, management of budget, control of equipment and supplies, and organization and implementation of program development activities. Abide by NCAA and AMCC rules and regulations; maintain accurate uniform and equipment inventories; plan and closely supervise all team travel; serve as a positive role model for all student-athletes; develop and maintain good communication with team members; utilize effective motivational strategies; make hiring recommendations; train and orientate assistant coaches.
REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge of NCAA and AMCC rules and regulations; basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer); strong communication and interpersonal skills; willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends, some weekday travel required; strong organizational skills; playing and coaching experience, preferably at the college level; Bachelor’s degree preferred; valid driver’s license.
